There are 5 Crowns that will be rewarded at the Judgment Seat of Christ, this is the Race that We Should be Running Saints of God, because what we do now will last for eternity.
The “Incorruptible Crown.” (The Victor’s Crown)
1Co 9:25 Now every athlete who goes into training conducts himself temperately and restricts himself in all things. They do it to win a wreath that will soon wither, but we [do it to receive a crown of eternal blessedness] that cannot wither.
1Co 9:26 Therefore I do not run uncertainly (without definite aim). I do not box like one beating the air and striking without an adversary.
1Co 9:27 But [like a boxer] I buffet my body [handle it roughly, discipline it by hardships] and subdue it, for fear that after proclaiming to others the Gospel and things pertaining to it, I myself should become unfit [not stand the test, be unapproved and rejected as a counterfeit].
The “Crown of Life.” (Martyrs Crown)
Rev 2:10 Fear nothing that you are about to suffer. [Dismiss your dread and your fears!] Behold, the devil is indeed about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested and proved and critically appraised, and for ten days you will have affliction. Be loyally faithful unto death [even if you must die for it], and I will give you the crown of life.
The “Crown of Glory.” (Elders Crown)
1Pe 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
Born Again to a Living Hope
1Pe 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1Pe 1:4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
1Pe 1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
The “Crown of Righteousness.” (Those who Love his Appearing)
2Ti 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
The “Crown of Rejoicing.” (Soul Winning Crown)
1Th 2:19 For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes? Is it not you?
1Th 2:20 Indeed, you are our glory and joy.
(Every believer in Christ should be in the race to receive one or all of these 5 Crowns).
1Co 3:10 By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care.
1Co 3:11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.
1Co 3:12 If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw,
1Co 3:13 their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work.
1Co 3:14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward.
1Co 3:15 If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.
